Recently had my front and rear seats sprayed with Siemens black vinyl dye. Everything was prepped and cleaned correctly in advance I believe. The problem is that both rear seat sections have a much more glossy look to them than the front seats.
Any idea if it's possible to reduce the glossiness on the rear sections?
I'm guessing that this might have to do with the vinyl material, the rear sections were originally dark reddish in color, and may be original pieces, but I'm not 100% sure. The front seat vinyl pieces were originally black, and installed by an upholstery shop around 3 years ago.
While all the pieces look great on their own, putting the front and rear seats together as a set is not working too well, you definitely can see a difference.
