Car caught fire from small oil leak.......... 700

I have a 1990 740 B234F and I just replaced the valve cover gasket along with the camshaft carrier gasket. It had caught fire on my wife from oil leaking onto the exaust manifold. Well, I fixed it, and here not even a week later, it is doing it again. It caught fire on me this morning. Nothing major, but it'ss still scarey! No wires or anything, just the oil on the manifold. I used the stuff from VOLVO to replace the gasket and I don't have any pressure on my crankcase (I can hold a piece of paper over the oil cap hole while it is running and it sucks it down). What is happening? I am ready to just clean it up and slap some JB WELD on it!
