Anyone tried Valvoline Max Life Synthetic Oil? 700

Hello-

745T 1990 193K miles

Ive seen a lot of posts on synthetic oil here, almost all refer to Mobil 1 or Amsoil. Ive been using Valvo Durablend 10-30 (half synthetic) for years, but recently Valvo came out with a FULL SYNTHETIC "Max Life" product that has seal conditioners etc. for 75,000 mile plus cars. I went for it, just wondering if any one had any experience with this product.

Should I change the filter early? - this is first full synthetic change. The car has been on durablend for many years, although the previous owner changed every 5K, Ive been doing it basically every 3.

Also would like to hear ideas on cheapest place to buy oil, and filters (with brand preference on filter, reasoning).
