What a find! 200

We brought home another addition (short time!) to our Volvo family tonight. My 88 765T had to be roll-backed a couple of weeks ago and the wrecker driver told me that another driver for the company had a Volvo that he wanted to be rid of. I gave him a call and drove to Waxhax, NC for a look. What I found was a beautiful condition white 89 244GL, leather, sunfroof, all power, etc. The alternator wasn't out putting and the instruments did not register, but it fired on the first turn. We made the deal for $300.00 because of the possible wiring problems, and I went out tonight with my 86 245 towing car, jumped the alternator to the battery positive, fired it up and drove it up on the car dolly. Alternator is fine, so it is a broken wire or ignition switch.

A great lady in our church family has been praying for a car for a while now, and God definitely answered her prayer. She should be driving it by next weekend.

Regards,
