Transmission Overdrive Problem 900 1991

Hi everyone! I have a 91 940 GLE 4 cylinder, 16 valve engine. My transmission overdrive has a mind of its own lately, shifting on and off from overdrive most especially during speeds over 50 mph. I replaced both the solenoid and the overdrive relay but apparently, it didn't cure the problem. Your help is greatly appreciated.
