To see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of uhm, yeah. =D
So here I go, my mom ended up being the person to drive me up to Seattle. I picked up an airflow meter from Shayne yesterday and will be using that to assist in my tuning of the carbs. I'll pump up the tires, top off the oil level, change the fluid in the carbs and tune them, and play with the timing and I'll be outta there on my way down to Portland... Wish me luck!
Ps. I used the air flow meter on my HIF6s yesterday, and when I would measure the flow in the rear carb, the car would start to choke as if it were starving for air... And here's another sidenote; my car loves the mid 30s for driving. It actually started up pretty damn quickly this morning in the weather, without choke...(or maybe it's still slightly on, I'll have to recheck that, but i think it's off all the way) So that would mean that I'm running a little rich and need to lean it out a little bit. But still, even after I do that, it's probably not going to feel anywhere as strong as it does in this cold weather. I mean I know cold weather makes more power, but seriously, I can feel a HUGE difference. Well, huge meaning it's not just a seat of the pants thing that you're imagining. It is definitely noticeable. The car pulls harder. Blah, I gots to go!
w00! Good luck to me!
I'll letcha all know how it went when I return... =D =D =D
