Testing IAC Valve from 960 900

My 960 is stumbling on acceleration and I suspect the IAC valve. I've cleaned the valve,thotle body and changed the plugs and air cleaner. Now it still stumbles on occasion. Is there a way to test the IAC valve on the bench to rule this component out
