First 'big' trip in my 245 200 1993

Drove my 245 about 500 miles this past weekend on the interstates. It rode like a dream. I have put Virgo wheels on it and they did fine too. When I got home..I yanked the driver's seat and rebuilt it. I used the 3M adhesive to glue blue jean-like material on the seat cushion foam where the metal seat brace rides. Also I inserted some carpet material in-between the seat spring thingy and the seat foam. While I was doing all that, I threw the seat skin into the washer on cold. Now that everything is all back together..the seat definately rides ALOT better. A couple of observations:

1) The seat bolts are torq nuts, versus regular bolts and nuts.
2) I thought I would see a wire for the air bag under the driver seat..maybe I didn't recognize it...but it sure just looks like seat heater wiring and that's all. Where is the air bag connector???
3) I adjusted both the front and back seat tilts to get a higher seat position that feels really firm w/ the reinforced seat cushions.
4) I used really strong black tie wraps to put the seat skin back on.

I did about 80 mph all the way the entire 500 miles. Well...you know. :)
Nice car.
