Clean the trottle body ... times and again 700 1989

Guys,

Could you post some instructions ... in plain words on how to clean the trottle body. My 740T 89 is surging rpms when idling. Normally is around 800rpm and then goes up to 1200, holds it for about 15-20 sec and then goes back to normal - 800. The entire cycle can repeat for few times with period of 10-20 sec.
It is very noticable when I am letting the engine idle such that turbo cools down.
I read few postings and majority suggest to clean the trottle body.

This saga started when I decided to put premium (98 octane number) petrol(Australia).
Normally I was driving using regular unleaded (91-92 octane number)

Thanks in advance, Steven
