hello. before I ask about the bodies on the cars, I would like to share something sort of funny (to you) and sort of scary to me. I was driving home and let a minivan go in front of me. hey, it turned out to be my ex, who had been looking at me earlier that day. she gave me a thumbs up. hey, cool huh? so, I'm kinda happy after that. I'm driving home and (i'm not like this ever, but there was somebody following me really close) I took a left turn too fast because some idiot was tailgating me really close. anyway, my vision was something like this: fence, road, guardrail, fence, car, road. luckily, I didn't hit anything, but man, my volvo needs a handling improvement.
Ok, here's my question: do volvo 2 door and 4 door bodies fit if you exchange them? My car is wrecked in the back. I have a 1979 242 Dl body available with no damage. the suspension on the '79 is trashed, yet I have all new parts on my '82 chassis. so would they fit? what would I have to do? also, does anyone know the rules regarding the exchange of vin numbers on cars?
