Update. I was having problem with my '88 240DL(133,000 miles) AW70 tranny slipping. Yesterday I flushed tranny and I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. I also changed tranny filter(however I found one in there was fine). Finally I changed radiators to a known good one(only 2x years old from a past totaled Volvo)as one in car was original from '88 and maybe had a breach allowing coolant and atf to mingle. Well I am happy to say that tranny no longer slips and seems fine. Hopefully remains working well. Many Thanks To All Here On BrickBoard For Your Help And Advice. I Appreciate It.
