Nivomat conversion? 900

Have a 1991 940SE with 190k miles and the Nivomat IRS. Nivomats are showing signs of failing (again) Right rear shock does not "pump-up" -- the car sits uneven after being driven. The shocks were replaced at about 60k miles by a dealer. Anyway -- IPD has a Nivomat conversion available at a reasonable cost (as compared to replacing the Nivomats). Has anyone had experience with this insofar as how it effects handling, car height, etc? How about the ease (or difficulty) of installation of the kit or just replacing old shocks with new Nivomats?

On another note -- As I'm going to wind up replacing the rear shocks -either with Nivomat or the conversion -- are there any rear-end bushings that are prone to wear and might need replacing? Do the large bushings that secure the trailing arm to the frame typically wear out? I've completely redone the front end with IPD poly bushings and ball joints -- made a huge difference in ride quality. Am willing to attempt to tackle the rear-end suspension at this point, but don't want to spend the money and time if it's not really necessary.

Any past experience or thoughts on the matter will be greatly appreciated.
