INSTALLED NEW TIMING BELT - START THEN NO START 200

I installed a new timing belt on my Grandson's 1988 240 DL this week. Wasn't sure if I had it timed right, so I cranked it over without all the extra stuff on, such as the cover, accessories, etc. It started and ran fine for a minute. I then finished up the job and now it doesn't start. The Belt is turning the camshaft. but no fuel pressure, no juice to the ignition. I can't find any connections that I disturbed during the final assembly I finally figured out the relay in the passenger's compartment I replaced last month was the main relay and not just the fuel relay.
Questions: 1) Where the heck is the fuel pump relay on a 1988? 2) Could I safely bypass the main relay by jumpering from terminal 30 (plus 12v) to terminals 87/2 (aircontrol/pimp, injectors, etc)and 87/1 (Air mass sensor). Or is there an easy way to measure signals I am supposed to be getting at the main relay from the ECU.

PS: All the info on the brickboard was a big help in getting the belt on properly.
I ended up renting an impact wrench to get the main pully bolt off. I tried to make a special holding tool but that didn't work.
