I am hoping to find somebody who is about to scrap a old '86 740 gle body.I don't know the proper name of the parts,but it is the cast metal "guide" piece that directs the sunroof panel up for venting or into the park position when it closes.It's the drivers side that has broken away.I closely inspected it and have determined that epoxy is not an option I would try.I have looked at what was left in our salvage yards (They have been crushing like madmen around here because the recycling price has been high) ,nothing with the manual crank sunroofs.
I'm really looking forward to driving around,with the sunroof back,once spring arrives.Cabin fever has taken it's toll.
