Poly Control Arm Bushings 900

Has anyone had experience with the polyurethane cone bushings for the control arms in the 700 and early 900 front suspension? My rubber ones seem to last only about 30K miles and I'm tired of replacing them. Do the poly ones really last longer? How much does the ride deteriorate?
