1990-760t fuel pump relay 700

If the relay is working? Should i FEEL it click when the key is turned to the start position (without starting the car). I have now taken the relay out and apart. Is there a way to test the relay while it is apart. There is slight cracking on one terminal. I am going to reflow the solder. But ,was wondering if there was a way to test it after reflowing. The car is not at home to readily test it in.
