Transmission Overhaul 900 1993

On a Wash DC radio show Goss's Garage, Pat Goss told a caller that he should expect to pay about $3000 for a trans overhaul on a 1993 940. Pat is usually right on but in this case I hope he's wrong. Things do tend to be higher in the DC area, But I thought RWD trans were somewhat less expensive.
