740 wheels on a 164 140-160

I saw some 740 alloy wheels for sale and was thinking that they would look good on my 164. Only problem is the 740 wheels are 6" wide and offset is +25mm and the 164 wheels are 5.5" wide with +40mm offset.
Aside from widening the track by 30mm (15mm each side) does anyone know what affect this may have on handling/steering ? I now that changing the offset changes the scrub radius but I don't know what that means when rubber meets road.
