88 760 Climate Control Failure 700

Has anyone repaired or replaced the Climate Control on one of these 88 760s? Mine will not select the different vent positions (although there is vacuum to the distribution module). I took it out yesterday and found it to be solid state and impossible to trouble shoot without a schematic, which I don't have access to. All of the other functions work well, Auto Temp Control, Fan, Air, Recirculation. Since the rewiring of the engine compartment, this runs well enough to continue the repairs (which are legion!).
