Hood interchangeablity 200

Hi all,

Just asking the experts out there, how difficult is it to change over from a 1985GL hood/ grill to a flathood.. this is all very confusing, so ill try an explain with pictures...

Presently, my car has the same hood/grill setup as this car... (although nowhere near as sexy looking.)

However, i want to convert the hood and grill to this:

The question is, can it be done with relative ease or is it going to be the mother of all time wasters.

Many many thanks in advance, i love this board more than my girlfriend.. oh, thats prbably why i dont have one anymore.. hehe
