Update from this thread: http://brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=930970
The problem finally happened for me today.
If you begin to accelerate and then quickly take your foot off the the gas, the rpm starts dropping too low and the car can stall. You have to try it a few times to get it to happen. Any time you start to accelerate and lift your foot the idle drops too low and then recovers. If you get it just right it will stall.
After the problem happened to me the car would not restart. It was just dead. It would not even turn over. Dash lights were still on. Than after a minute it started right up. I got the problem to happen a second time and the car started right back up on that one. Normally it starts right back up.
I checked the battery connection...all ok
Crank position sensor was replaced a few years ago.
I check the code ... it had a 1-2-1 loaded ??????????????
Confusion. Help please. I am running out of things to replace
