I'm going to bring home my thrid Volvo this weekend, a 1983 245 parts car. It has nice leather seats, rear bumper and a grill trim that I want for my 1983 240 Turbo. The car has an m46 gearbox and an engene that ran well untill it developed a fuel leak. The car is not pretty and has had the dash and electical hacked up. I guess the only thing keeping it from being drivable now is a fuel leak. I gess that could be fixed, and I could throw my old seats in it and sell it when I was done swapping parts. I however think this car will be more useful as a parts car. If, I go this way what should I save. At what point will the junk yard place not take it. Should I take the m46 and save it for latter? Would I ever want to put that in my 88 244 m47 car that Had for some reason the transmission rebuilt in it before 150k? Maybe not the best gearbox that volvo made? What parts are sellable, and where is a good place to advertise?, basiclally never had a parts car before,so I really don't know how far to take it. Still feel bad taking one of the road.
