interior / dash paint.... anyone have any experience? 200 1982

I recently bought a 82 244 GLT turbo with blue interior- I want to switch it out to black. I know I will have to replace the seats, but I thought I could probably paint the door panels, dash, and plastic molding... I think I've seen it done before, but I don't know what type of products to use, or how well it holds up. any info is appreciated. thanks
