Finally got front end aligned after suspension refurbishment: Look at Results.... 200 1989

'89 240. Replaced the struts (Sachs Advantage), strut mounts, ball joints, tie rod ends, and control arm bushings. Took the beast to Big Ten and they said that the inner tie rods were bad. (I sorta new that the wheel wiggle test was not satisfactory, but figured that I'd at least get a "rough" alignment). They also told me that they'd fix the inner tie rods for $300!! NOT!!!

So..yesterday I replaced the inner tie rods and boots (FCPGroton..$12 shipping for total of $66) and took the beast back to Big Ten (I didn't want to take it to them..but they were still the most convienient) and they performed the alignment for $59.95 (plus tax). Numbers are listed in the following order...BEFORE/AFTER/SPECIFIED RANGE

Left Front Camber 0.5; 0.5; (-0.1 to 1.4)
Left Front Caster 3.8; 3.8; (3.0 to 4.0)
Left Front Toe 1.04; 0.13; (0.07 to 0.2)

Right Front Camber 0.0; 0.0; (-0.1 to 1.4)
Right Front Caster 3.1; 3.1; (3.0 to 4.0)
Right Front Toe 1.06; 0.13; (0.07 to 0.2)

Front Cross Camber 0.4; 0.4; (-0.5 to 0.5)
Front Cross Caster 0.8; 0.8; (-0.5 to 0.5)
Total Toe 2.09; 0.25; (0.13 to 0.4)

So....gimme your thoughts. (I didn't include the rear wheel numbers) I was kinda scratchin my head on the Cross Caster number for the front....I'm guessing that the only way to put that number in spec is to move the strut mount bolts...but don't know whether it's something to worry about or not. I used white-out and best guess eye look when I put everything back together...so I think I did alright I guess.
