Low Idle, Buzzing Sound from primary fuel pump(not in tank)

I recently started having low idle problems 800/900 or so on my 1984 244gl 99,000 org miles, It just today started making a buzzing sound, that I have traced back to the primary fuel pump, next to the left rear wheel (not in tank)My questions are the two related (low dle /buzing sound.ne suggestions. I am going to go to the salvage yards (If i make it ) in an attemt to find a replacement IN tank pump as I beieve this could be the culprit . Ne suggestions ? (And i know I should buy a new on e but i am strapped for cash ne suggestions on where to buy a quality in tank pump thanks.
