Regarding the Small Voltmeter, where did you connect it, to give an accurate reading . . . directly to the Battery or to the Alternator? As you know, with Multimeter in hand, the Alternator will give one reading and the Battery another. If the car is running, then the Voltmeter would tell you the Alternator Output, but would give Battery Charge State, when off. What do you think? Or, did you just connect it to somewhere behind the dash?
