Exhaust Choices for a 142E 140-160 ALL

I have a 71 142e with a Glass pack- resonator- glass pack exhaust system. It's kinda loud and I just moved to an area of my neighborhood that is about 2 blocks away from the police station and there are cops everywhere. Instead of getting pulled over every day I decided that I shoud try to quiet the car with another glass pack; and I hate those giant fart can exhausts usually put on Honda's and such, so I was thinking of moving the second pack in front of the resonator and getting a glass pack with a resonator double-tip(Monza style if you have seen them). Will this make it sound like crap? Any other suggestions?
