Steering oddness.

After a couple weeks of driving my new (used) 940 wagon I noticed some "oddness" in the steering. When I'm moving at reasonable speed 35-40 mph on a sustained curve (such as a cloverleaf) I feel the power steering "pushing" back - trying to push the care back to straight. It's weird and nothing similar has ever happened on my oher volvos, even the ones with a bad steering rack. I'm thinking that it relates to the power steering pump so I plan to flush it as soon as I can.
However, I'm really nto sure what is going on. It doesn't act like bad ball joints, or bad bushings, it's just like the rack wants to be straight. Any ideas?
