240 third seat installation 200 1990

I have a 1990 240 wagon and I'd like to put a third seat in it. Is there any modification that I'll have to do to install it or is everything ready and waiting? I did a search and only found one related post http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=925427 . That post is regarding a slightly different model and year so I'm wondering if the wagons had been made more "3rd seat ready" by 1990. Sounds like that guy had to do a fair amount of hole drilling to get his seat in.

Also, would a seat from a 245 fit a 240? I'm guessing they're identical. There's one on ebay that I'm wondering about.
