The 'results' are in! (CAI vs Open carbs!) 140-160

So tonight, after work(I got a job! it's only baskin robbins again, but it's MUCH better than nothing!), I went out and did some runs, three with my setup, and then five with the top of the airbox off(five because the stopwatch didn't stop on two runs), and then one run after that with the CAI setup again.

CAI:
1 15.00s
2 14.48s
3 14.41s

Airbox cover taken off:
1 14.22s
2 13.74s
3 13.81s

CAI:
4 14.47s

Weather:
Temperature: 46 F
Dewpoint: 37
Humidity: 71 %

Third gear pulls, from 30 mph to 70mph. About 2500 or so rpm to about 5800 or so rpm.

Open airbox is definitely faster. I think the bottom of the airbox creates enough of a heatshield...? Good deal. Now maybe just finding a K&N filter that I can just drop into the airbox and then cut out the center of the airbox lid so it's open to the atmosphere or something maybe? I also have a stock airfilter, but didn't have it with me... I should've gone out and tried it with that in place and no airbox cover. Eh, I might go do that...

EDIT: Went out, made some more runs. Then when I finished, I realized I probably should've tried this with the cover, and without the cover, rather than just the open stock filter:
1 14.22s
2 14.26s
3 13.53s(I think I started at about 31/32mph on this one...)

Then one more CAI run just for more good measure:
6 14.39s

So, averages and bests and worsts:
CAI Open Open/paperfilter
Avg. 14.55s 13.92s 14.01s
Best 14.39s 13.74s 13.53s(faster starting speed)
Worst 15.00s 14.22s 14.26s
