1800 E or ES... or carburetted car 1800

Hi All
Its been some time since I owned an 1800. We had a 70 E coupe back then and concurrently for a while, multiple Volvo sickness set in and I had an 1800ES as well. Got thinking not too long ago that it'd be nice to have another 1800. My first preference is for an E coupe, cause I think it handles better than the ES, but there is something about that ES styling that I find appealing.

Since the newest ES is now in excess of 30 years old, I have some concerns about the parts availability now and for the forseeable future for fuel injection parts. Should this be of concern? On the S models, SU carb parts will be around till the next millenium, so it doesn't seem to be a concern.

I cant think of any other areas of parts availiblity that might be of concern. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

Bob
