OK ..the NEW (to me) 89 760 will have to have some paint work in the future. It looks as if someone spilled or applied somethng on the roof that took most of the color out in large spots.

I have read that the factory paint jobs are really first rate - maybe even a better paint job than most like Chevy or Ford would even consider. So - how can you be sure that you get this type of paint job repeated on the car?

One reason I ask is that my old red 91 940 that is now with my step son ...I had that car painted all over after a storm blew roof shingles all over it. Ben just showed me the other day a place where the paint is coming off (under the front windshield) ..and lo and behold - under it is the original paint - faded red but still there. I had thought that they removed the paint. Maybe they just removed the clear coat??
