This is my season for brake questions - this time it's the rears. I just bought original Volvo rear brake pads. The pads included two sets of shims, the usual bright metal ones and another set which appear to be some manner of fabric laminated to a substrate. On a NON-ABS, 1990, 240 wagon, which ones do I install? If all of them are meant to be used, in what order should they be installed?
