On the AMM (007) and I noticed also on 020 (different car) there appears to be an area where sealant? is placed (by manufacturer) into what appears to be a small hole -- about 5mm in diameter or so. This is specifically located on the face of the black plastic piece(above the 007 stamp) which has the electrical connector on the front of it. It appears that on the 007 AMM the sealant has aged and may have some pin holes in it.
Anyone familiar with what the purpose is of this sealant? Is there a hole, screw, or something beneath?
Thanks!
