Fault code 2-3-2 on the fuel (bosch) 900 1991

My 940 2.3 8 valve non turbo has been stalling on road junctions after going down hill when engine cold. It starts and runs fine otherwise with no problems and is OK after a slight warm up.It has done 130000 miles and regularly serviced. Fuel filter was changed at 105000 miles.
The self diagnoses reads the code 2-3-2 (bosch) which states that the mixture is weak or rich when idling. I think the mixture is rather weak as the exhaust is very clean and does not smell rich.
Anyone with knowlage of what needs replacing would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
