Really Bad Oil Leak 740 Turbo 700

Just bought a 740T only to find on driving home a severe oil leak coming from somewhere under the turbo on left hand side of the engine. Grrrrrrrr

Tried to clean it down and think it may be from either:-

Turbo drain pipe sump gasket.
Oil Cooler Seals.
Other Seal and Gaskets in the vacinity.

I started by cleaning out the PCV system and pipes and believe they are now clear.

I dont really want to remove the Turbo to gain access, so has anybody got any good ideas of what sort of systematic approach I should adopt and which area to go for first? Only I dont want to try and seal or fix something only to find another leak and have to strip it down again.

Being a new British member I'm a novice at this sort of thing, but have heard that some leaks can be fixed by applying Permatex Ultra Blue Silicone which I beleive is an American product.

Is there something similar sold in the UK that I could try and use? other than Hermatite or Blue Hylomar? or is is better to go straight for new seals/gaskets?

Any tips for what repairs can be carried out in situ without ripping eveything out would be appreciated.
