Wierd rear hop and rattle 700 1989

For the past few days, I've been having some odd issues with my 740t (non-irs, plain jane diff) When accelerating from low speeds, anytime under heavy load or even mildy brisk acceleration, the entire car shakes violently, with the vibration emanating from the rear of the car. The shake feels almost like wheelhop, but is violent enough that the car will not move until I ease off the accelerator and take off at a slower pace. The vibration returns at each gear shift, or whenever I attempt to accelerate briskly. It also seems to clunk when making sharp turns Anyone know what this is? I had the car on jackstands a few days ago and improperly diagnosed it as a torn lower torque arm bushing, which was replaced, but the problem still persists. Anyone ever dealt with this? What could it be? I checked through the haynes manual and the 700/900 FAQ to replace the bushing, which was said to give some of these tendencies, but this did not help. What else could it be?
