ATF Drain Plug Washer 200

Does the ATF drain plug have a gasket/washer? My plug went into a narrow neck container during my first filter/fluid change. I recovered the plug with a magnet but there was no washer on it. I replaced it as I found it but now I have a small leak around the drain plug.
