Hello All,
I'm installing new (non-electric) type fuel injectors on my Daughters 1980 242.
I recall reading somewhere that new fuel injectors need to be soaked or cleaned somehow before installing.
This was supposedly to remove a protective coating from the factory.

Is there any truth to this?
