my new (used) 740 is bleeding!! 700

Hi all, just picked up my new 1990 740 turbo sedan with 135000 miles on it and drove it for 200 miles. Made one stop, all was well, running like a top.
WHen I got home, I smelled burning oil and antifreeze.
Saw a steady drip , popped the hood and what was a clean engine has oil on the valve cover around the filler hole, and on some big round thing to the left of the battery, and a steady drip drip of antifreeze coming from the shroud underneath the car. Its stopped now, but what could of caused that??? Where should I look?
