Home made brake power bleeder 700 1989

Greetings everyone,

I've been doing my own brake flush for the past 2 years thanks to the brickboard using the 2 man pump method. I'm thinking of graduating to power bleeding the brakes using a home-made device.

I would have gotten the Motive Power Bleeder long ago IF the cost of shipping it here wasn't almost half the price of the bleeder. Adding that to the cost of the bleeder I'm looking at around $300 local currency which is quite expensive. I can't find any DIY power bleeder here and the brake bleeder sold are the big ones on wheels (wynns) meant for mechanics.

In the FAQ and from my search there's a few ways to construct your own power bleeder. I'm interested in the one where you attach a garden spray to the reservoir cap as it seems the most easy. I'm hoping if any of the inventors or anyone else who had used this can elaborate more on its construction. Things I'm not clear is how does the spray nozzle connects to the cap? How big a garden spray? How much pressure? Any other tips?

A photo would truly be most helpful.

Appreciate any advice. Any other ideas for constructing your own power bleeder are also most welcomed. Thanks

Aslan
