Board:

I'm about to flush my cooling system and replace a few aged hoses and have the following question: Is my green coolant system cap a bad idea? From a quick search through the archive, it seems that the green cap allows too much pressure prior to releasing. Is this correct?

Also, I'm soliciting opinions on coolant selection for my '93 945t - 90k.
