Hello. Turns out that the 1987 240DL sedan with auto transsmission is going to need a new overdrive solenoid. I tested wiring to within a few inches of solenoid and there was electric so I believe solenoid itself is bad and has to be replaced. From Volvo solenoid is $280 !! Any suggestions for a less expensive alternative ?? Where to get ? Brand ? I see on E Bay ones for $69.00 & $99.00 . Are these any good ? Reputable Sellers ? As always your advice & opinions are most appreciated. Thanks.
