When I bought this car (89 760) the nivomat on the LR had collapsed pretty much all the way down, pushing the car down on the drivers side - front and rear. About four weeks back I had the IPD conversion installed, and it was pretty high on the back from the git go. It has come down, but still needs a bit more to be right.
My question is ...would a weak spring on the front create a sceanio where it might elevate the rear some? When the back was down (b4 conversion), it definitely brought the front down with it.
Driving it today - I note the back end will wobble side to side on it's stance on a somewhat rough stretch of freeway. The front end is more solid in how it handles all this - but it is like it lower - sorta like the springs have been compressed.
Does this identify at all with anothers experience? I am just trying to work it all in my head before I buy new struts and springs for the front ..OR ...try a different set of springs from IPD on the rear.
Thanks
