Just finished installing the AW71 in a 1986 740 n/a using the instructions in the FAQ. Remaining questions I have are-

1)For doing the wiring-It says in the FAQ that i should find 2 unused plugs in the relay/fuse box area. 1 for the solenoid wiring and 1 for the overdrive switch wiring and that the colors should match the shifter wiring colors. I have the fuse box/relay tray removed and can find no unused plugs. The only unused wire (that has a different end on it form the other plugs is a gray/red stipped wire. Should all 1986 740's be pre-wired for OD?

2)There is nothing in the FAQ instructions (on trans swaps) about how to wire the OD relay. Does someone have this info?

3} What is the minimum wiring that needs to be done if one always wants to use OD and doesn't care about being able to shut OD off? What i mean here is- can i just hook the OD solenoid wire to constant power when the car is turned on and run the car this way? I do not forsee a time when i will need to disengage the OD while driving.
