240DL AUTO TRANSMISSION fluid inlet

I thought I was finished but alas I discovered a leak at the meeting of the feeder tube and the pan of the automatic transmission. It's not leaking at the fitting, but at the joint on the pan. I tried using epoxy glue, but it didn't work. I can drop the pan and braze it or go to pick and pull and replace it.
Any thoughts on the two options, or maybe a better means of fixing it? Thanks for your assistance. Alps in California.
