Steering Box question 444-544

Hi guys,
I just rebuilt the steering box on my 61 544, and I was wondering if it is normal to have more play in the pitman arm when it is in a turned position than when it is pointing dead-on. I'm hoping I did this properly. It's still on my workbench, so I can still mess with it if necessary. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Rob
