(1986 740 sedan) I suspect problems with the coolant temp sensor. I want to try running without it. What signal does it make? i.e. what value indicates cold, what value indicates warmed up? I suspect it is a variable resistor, am I way wrong? Am I better off to ground the sensor wire, or leave it open?
