a quick query...the tail lights on my 1990 240 all function but not properly...i checked the connection - white plastic piece with wires, but when i connect it securely all of the lights come on leaving me with brake lights that don't illuminate...if, however, i tweak the connection, the lights will go off which allow my break lights to function but leave me without nighttime running lights...turning the headlight button on the dash does nothing.

does anyone know how i can fix this? i tried to sand the connections but the problem remains...any ideas? could i possibly not have the double filament bulbs in the right place?
