To part or not to part... 120-130

Hi all,

I've come across a '66 122 Wagon that I have the opportunity to buy. My original intention was to cannibalize it for upgrades for my 1957 PV444. Things I want from it are : B20 w/weber, dual exhaust manifold, front disc brake system, M41 + Overdrive, OD driveshaft, and other bits and pieces.

Trouble is that when I got a good look at the car, it was (with the exception of the fenders) straight. Doors shut like new. I always have a terrible time trying to decide to part classic cars. Anyone have any advice?

The only rust in the whole car is in the front fenders and passenger floor (patched). None in the frame. It drives well and tracks straight.

I'd get the car for $500 which is far less than I'd have to spend finding these upgrade parts myself... Thoughts?

Thanks
Aiden
